I am a single mother who agrees that schools should close. What isn't right is the hardship that's impacted on low income families. Every low income family should receive either in SNAP or voucher 1,000 dollars to stock their house with food during the pandemic. It would relieve alot of stress  and anxiety at this time of crisis for me and many other parents in New York State. As a education advocate it is my duty as a parent leader to ask on behalf of my family and many others for this human service be extended to working and low income families.
