Currently with the Corona Virus our non-for-profit Colleges are struggling to survive we are calling on both Federal and State aide help to save these colleges and ensure our young adults education!!! We believe these institutions are great places for minds to learn and grow. 

The statement below is from one of NYS alumni from Wells College but I believe can represent just one of many non-for-profit colleges in our state and the need to further fund them during this pandemic!!!

"I am a proud alumna of Wells College, a small-but-mighty school in academic learning, critical thinking and community spirit. The Village of Aurora, a beautiful, serene place on Cayuga Lake and northeast of Ithaca, depends on Wells College for jobs in town and on campus, and the maintenance of its water treatment plant. Wells College and Aurora are counting on you to support funding for higher education in the next federal disaster relief bill. Wells--and all it embodies and supports--is in dire straits. Wells desperately needs the nation's help in staying open. Without federal assistance, it could shut down permanently, displacing a college community and depressing a local economy. Every year I do my part to support Wells --in money and in time. But this time I know that we need government assistance to see us through this crisis." - Kristine Munden
