Many employees across our NYC healthcare facilities were provided with temporary on-street parking permits, which were issued by NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) for health care workers fighting COVID-19. The permits are expiring December 31, 2020. At this time of COVID-19 infection going up again, MTA is trying to cut its services of trains and buses, taking hours on transit to go to work and come home, with more crowded buses and trains. We need the extension of on-street parking permit issued by NYC DOT, so that we can safely and timely go to work to take care of our patients during this pandemic.
