Good day how are you all doing hope all is well on this day. My name is Clifford J Stephens from the Mosholu Parkway,The Bronx NYC. I am currently and have been for about 2 years an employee of  Foodkick Manhattan a branch off of Fresh Direct LLC. I was considered an essential hero during the Pandemic like many other New York employees at such a crucial time in our lives.  This Petition is to address the status of an essential workers ( Heroes workers compensation package) We worked long hard hours and traveled thru difficult situations to and from work. Yes we managed to stay employed and earn for our families but it was at a cost of uncertainty. With our health ,our families health at risk know one was sure if they were making the right decisions. Paranoia on both sides but you stay strong for a cause bigger than yourself and that's what the right human being does,they sacrifice themselves for others. Not sure of the outcome and how to survive this Quarantine for oneself and others you stay strong and focus on what needs to be done. During press conference and formulating stimulus packages for the recovery process of the economy. Essential workers were cheered on and spoken so highly of, on what such a great job they are doing for the city. Increased hourly wages were discussed a reward package was supposedly for the end of the year. I decided that this petition was needed so we can not be forgotten for our services for the city. this is very much needed and we would like to know will we or will not be recognized for our services.
