In this era of Racial Justice and Racial equality, we seek to highlight and bring awareness to the achievements of the greatest Black American thinkers of our time. Professor Thomas Sowell, who just recently celebrated his 90th birthday, is a man who fits every criteria of being one of the few great minds in American intellectual history.

Thomas Sowell is an American economist and social theorist who is currently a senior fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution. Sowell was born in North Carolina but grew up in Harlem, New York. He dropped out of Stuyvesant High School and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Professor Sowell is widely recognized as being one of the greatest thinkers in American history.

For the reasons above I propose we reward Mr. Sowell for his years of contributions, achievements, and military service by building and erecting a monument in his hometown of Harlem, New York, in his honor. Please sign this petition so we can honor Mr. Sowell in his lifetime! Thank you!
