VETO STOP ORDER TO PREVENT DESTRUCTION OF EVIDENCE OF STARVATION OF ANIMALS AT KSAMC POUND

The Issue

It is a case of starvation of animals being held at the KSAMC impound facility, and an attempt to remove the evidence by auction sale Monday, June 22, 2020.

The thirteen (13) cows and three (3) calves have been held at this facility with no grass and insufficient water for four (4) months.

This is a breech of the Cruelty Against Animals Act 1904.

We are appealing to the Prime Minister for a VETO to stop the sale and assign a special prosecutor to investigate the case.

The caretaker of the animals was not notified of the impounding and neither was he notified of the KSAMC's intention to sell the animals.  Mr. Andrew Holness said "It is all about stewardship. If we do not understand stewardship, we cannot govern. This man's thirty-three (33) year stewardship is being destroyed. This cannot be allowed to happen.
