Over 6 million animals are killed every year in America, and used for educational dissection and research. Stopping dissections in high schools in the Albany area would help end the killing of innocent animals and could even show other cities that there are alternatives this inhumane way of teaching. With the help of this petition, a law could be passed to make it illegal for schools to continue teaching students using dissection. Computer programs are a great alternative.
