The majority of pet stores in New York buy their puppies from puppy mills across the country. They are then transported here in tractor trailers and treated as freight. There is absolutely no regard for their lives whatsoever. Just the profit of the company that sells that at upwards of 90% markup. The mills they come from are inhumane, they are forced to breed most of their lives with little to no love and compassion that EVERY life deserves. The puppies are usually inbred which typically causes all sorts of defects that may not show up until their "warranty" has expired!
