Cosmetic testing on animals is a major problem because it harms innocent animals for our own benefits and uses. In labs, animals are force fed, restrained, burned and poisoned just so people can have that certain cologne or that one of a kind lipstick. I suggest that we help to enact the Humane Cosmetics Act, which will ban animal testing in cosmetics after three years of enactment. In addition, this act will make it illegal for cosmetic animal testing to take place in the United States and it will make selling products that used animal testing illegal as well.
