We, the undersigned, stand in support of a green, public, ecologically rich and accessible Outer Harbor.  Our Lake Erie shoreline occupies a unique and critical location on the Great Lakes freshwater ecosystem that must be protected for future generations. 

This land and water are a public trust and government entities hold these on behalf of all of us. Any actions should protect ecological processes, support maximum access to nature, water and recreation, protect public health, and generate public wealth to the entire city.  The community has already invested millions of dollars on infrastructure in this area, on cleaning up contaminated former industrial site and Buffalo River, and on restoration of Times Beach and Tifft, the benefits should not accrue to a few. These lands belong to all of us!
