Everyday in NYC shelters run by the Animal Care and Control, highly adoptable dogs and cats, including puppies and kittens are put to death for such things as kennel cough, a highly treatable condition similar to the common cold in which they contracted due to the filthy conditions and mismanagment by shelter workders. Dogs and cats are assigned behavioral classification for such things as biting or pulling on a leash, unwillingness to give up their food, even though they are starving. The shelter system also would rather put down a dog or cat rather than send it beyond a 4 hours radius of NYC. We have barraged the elected officials and media outlets to no avail so we are asking that everyone boycott NYC until this senseless murder of these animals end.
