For rabbit to be legal pets in Queensland

For rabbit to be legal pets in Queensland

The issue

Rabbits are loving, kind and adorable pets. The thought of people considering them as pest is outrageous! According to the green cross vet the are pest since in 1859 they caused mass destruction. That is over 150 years are ago. It also read that they cost about $600 million to $100 million annually. However if rabbits were pets they would be desexed (most likely) which making them unable to breed. Therefor if rabbits were not illigle there would not be as many in the wild causing destruction. I strongly support this statement and hope it goes into consideration.
