Subject : Support the Beauty /Cosmetology/Hair industry through Financial aid. 

We are being told we need to social distance ourselves during this pandemic and it has impacted the Beauty industry  since the lock down from March 22nd . All Salons and Spas are completely shut until further notice creating an economic disaster for the industry employees, salon/spa owners who should retain their employees,  to the  independent Aestheticians, cosmetologists, nail technicians, hair dressers, makeup artists,  and stylists and other non skilled staff of the industry. Number of people  who will be affected directly and indirectly by this will be close to 2lakh in Andhra Pradesh alone. 

Many Licensed therapists,  owners rely on clients to book appointments and generate revenue to pay both their professional and personal expenses, this unexpected and unfortunate pandemic has suddenly brought everything to a halt and owners are expected to pay commercial rents,  employee salaries,  installments,  cosmetic bills . 

Even after everything is back to normal our industry will continue to be effected with uncertainty as issues of hygiene, sanitation, cross infection will arise. 

 We are putting forward this petition on behalf of salon and beauty industry to get relief in our expenditures that include EMI, Rents, Taxes ,GST, License fees,  Professional taxes, Income taxes and others that are applicable to our industry. We sincerely request you to provide a financial aid /assistance  in place to help protect and support us is the need of the hour .  

Our industry is looking forward for support from the government ,  we cannot remain open and as we do not have other sources of income there could be potential bankruptcy. 

I am hoping this plea will help get us the financial aid we need to sustain until we get back to our business and serve our communities for which  the beauty industry  will be much obliged.
