ANTI MACEDONIAN BOOK SOLD BY THE GREEK COMMUNITY OF MELBOURNE VICTORIA
The issue
The GREEK COMMUNITY OF MELBOURNE VICTORIA has sold and may still be selling the following book in its bookstore "10+1 Questions & Answers on the Macedonian Question". By Dimitris Christopoulos. It promotes anti-Hellenic views regarding Macedonia. There are claims that a "Macedonian language" exists (actually a Bulgarian dialect) and that a "non Greek Macedonian ethnicity" (actually Bulgarians) exists and that our northern neighbors have every right to identify as Macedonian even if that identification conflicts with the 2.5 million Macedonians in Greece and around the world. The book is filled with anti Hellenic propaganda yet the GOCMV and Greek Orthodox Community of NSW still promote it and have been selling it. The GOCMV in conjunction with the Greek Community of NSW are hosting the following even on the 21st of October where they invite Dimitri Christopoulos to speak. The GOCMV and the Greek Community of NSW are actively promoting an anti Hellenic book which has been translated in "Macedonian".

WE CALL ON ALL TRUE HELLENES TO SIGN THE PETITION, SPREAD THE PETITION, email and call the GOCMV and demand they cease selling this book and cease promoting this book in all online events and forums. All links to this book in any event from the aforementioned community organisations should be expunged and never promoted in future. The GOCMV must also release a public statement apologising for offending the cultural sensitivities of indegenous macedonians across the world. They must also ensure that Mr Christopoulos and Mr Karpozilos who co authored this book are never given a platform at the Greek community ever again or allow for their book to be sold or promoted by the GOCMV in any way.
THE GOCMV should be promoting HELLENIC INTERESTS and should not be giving oxygen to books that follow an anti-hellenic traitorous political dogma. This is divisive for the community and also against the very interests of the HELLENIC NATION as it promotes falsehoods and fake history about Macedonia. Our youth who visit the bookstore and attend lectures should not be sold lies about their own history and culture. They should be taught the truth and the only the truth ; MACEDONIA IS GREECE
