An example of possible Irish DNA “noise” came up in a publicly-viewable Jewish genealogy Facebook group. On the other hand, the example of possible “noise” could be a possible example of the serious effect that Ancestry caused on all DNA results—i.e., having skewed all, not just Jewish and Irish, results.
Look the AncestryDNA Ireland:Jewish Diaspora in Europe (“Jewish Peoples of Europe”) ratio alone—1:~0.5708. Also look at some of the other numbers to see how unbalanced the AncestryDNA reference panel is—and one is a staggering just-under-9:2 ratio.
(Forgive that my markup is not symmetrical, etc. I type and draw with only one finger on each hand on my phone.)
In other words, any “noise” may not be “noise”, though it may also be inaccurate partially due to Ancestry’s sheer ratio imbalance.
