We the People Demand an Election Redo!
The Issue
The Election of 2016 was completely ILLEGITIMATE, especially the Presidential Election! We the People of the United States DEMAND a LEGITIMATE ELECTION!
Yesterday's Intelligence Committee hearing revealed without a shadow of a doubt that there was COLLUSION between Russia and the Trump Campaign, and that Russian operatives, at the direction of Vladimir Putin, launched a multi-prong, multi-level attack on many facets of American society, specifically targeted at DERAILING Hillary Clinton, in an attempt to get Donald Trump elected President. Furthermore, we now know that Putin has blackmail material on Trump, which will allow him to control not only our President, but our country.
At the very minimum, we need a REVOTE in all swing states where exit polls did not match the reported vote count, or where the count was extremely close, including North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, and Michigan. In states where there is a paper trail, like Wisconsin, at minimum a recount must be done. In states where there is no paper trail, like Pennsylvania, there MUST be a revote. We cannot trust the legitimacy of the election without this.
In addition, up to 7 million Americans were disenfranchised by Crosscheck measures exercised by Republican Secretaries of State, and by possible Russian manipulation of vote tallies and/or voter rolls. Furthermore, hundreds of thousands of provisional ballots were neither opened nor counted in swing states with razor-thin margins. This is a CLEAR VIOLATION of these citizens' civil rights, and completely unacceptable in such a close election.
If we want to maintain faith in the legitimacy of our electoral process and preserve our Democracy, We the People must be CONFIDENT that our vote is honestly and accurately reported, and unaffected by a hostile foreign government. In absence of these guarantees, we will lose our Country and our Soul.
As we can IN NO WAY feel confident about the results of the 2016 election, we MUST have a revote. We cannot allow Vladimir Putin to control our country and our future.
