Allow Villalobos Rescue Center to rehabilitate dog who was THROWN AWAY in her crate! IMMEDIATE ACTION IS NECESSARY!

The Issue

Villalobos Rescue Center responded last week to a call about a dog who had been thrown away in a crate and was near a dumpster.  The Louisianna SPCA also responded.  The dog has been in the custody of Louisianna SPCA for about a week.  She is fearful and unable at this point to interact with the staff at the SPCA.  Villalobos Rescue Center would like to take her in for rehabilitation, something they have YEARS of experience and LOADS of SUCCESS doing!!!  The SPCA refuses to allow Villalobos to take her because it is their "policy" not to "release dogs, whether it's a rescue group or individual that wants to rescue the animal, when they show that kind of aggression towards people."  According to Carolyn Martin of Villalobos Rescue Center, "I was able to stand literally a foot from her crate with no door on it and she didn't react .  I sat down on the ground next to her and tossedher a treat and she was fine with me."  THIS DOG DESERVES A CHANCE TO BE LOVED AND REHABILITATED BY THE EXPERTS AT VILLALOBOS...THEY HAVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND WOULD NEVER RELEASE A DOG THAT WAS NOT SAFE TO BE IN PUBLIC!!!  The actions of the LOUISIANNA SPCA are NOT ACCEPTABLE.  THIS IS OF UTMOST URGENCY.  SHE IS SCHEDULED TO BE EUTHANIZED TOMORROW, THURSDAY, DEC. 4TH.

PLEASE SIGN AND RECRUIT MORE PEOPLE TO SIGN THIS PETITION.

THIS DOG DESERVES TO LIVE!

ANA  ZORILLA  @ LOUISIANNA SPCA....RELEASE THIS DOG AND DO WHAT YOUR MISSION STATEMENT CLAIMS YOU DO...ELIMINATE THIS ANIMALS SUFFERING AND GIVE HER A CHANCE!!!  VILLALOBOS IS NOT SOME FLY-BY-NIGHT RESCUE.  THEY HAVE AN ESTABLISHED REPUTATION AND WILL PROVIDE A SAFE AND LOVING HOME FOR THIS DOG.
