The Issue

To the Members of the 120th United States Congress:

Your responsibility is clear: stop executive abuses, investigate corruption, and hold those responsible accountable. These are constitutional obligations that apply regardless of which party controls Congress.

For the past two years, Congress has failed to exercise meaningful oversight of the Trump administration. The next Congress must restore that oversight, enforce the law, and reassert its authority as a coequal branch of government. Calls to turn the page cannot substitute for accountability. Congress has a responsibility to undo the damage done by the executive branch and rebuild the parts of our government it has worked to tear down.

The Save America Movement calls on the next Congress to take the following actions:

1. Build effective oversight and provide the resources to carry it out.

Establish select and joint committees with the investigators, staff, funding, and authority necessary to expose misconduct and rein in executive abuses. Follow the money and investigate corruption wherever the evidence leads, at home and abroad.

2. Investigate the weaponization of the Justice Department.

Examine how the Department was used against the president’s perceived enemies and to shield his allies under Pam Bondi, Emil Bove, Todd Blanche, and others who enabled these abuses.

3. Investigate the ICE killings and any efforts to conceal the facts.

Conduct a complete investigation into deaths at the hands of ICE, including Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and into the administration’s handling of those deaths. Establish who authorized the actions, who bears responsibility, and whether officials obstructed investigations or withheld evidence.

4. Conduct comprehensive oversight of the Pentagon.

Examine the purges of experienced officers, political loyalty tests, waste, and cronyism within the Department of Defense. Follow the example of the Truman Committee by demanding rigorous oversight of military spending and administration during wartime.

5. Hold those responsible for dismantling public health and science institutions accountable.

Intervene to stop the weakening of America’s health and scientific institutions, cuts to research and public health capacity, and the substitution of unsupported claims for evidence across HHS and the federal government.

6. Investigate the contracts, the tariffs, and the pardons.

Conduct sweeping oversight of government contracting and influence, including the tech and AI giants, the crypto industry, tariff exemptions, and presidential pardons. Determine where political loyalty, personal relationships, or financial interests influenced official decisions.

7. Account for what DOGE dismantled and took.

Investigate and report precisely what was eliminated, transferred, accessed, or otherwise taken in the name of “government efficiency,” by whom, and under what authority. Document the costs and consequences for the American people.

8. Complete the Epstein investigation and disclosure.

Complete release of the full Epstein files, with narrowly tailored redactions to protect victims. Investigate the administration’s handling of those records, including any deliberate withholding, suppression, or mishandling.

9. Restore Congress’s institutional authority.

Reestablish regular order and the rules and procedures necessary for Congress to legislate, oversee federal agencies, and hold the executive branch accountable. Exercise the constitutional powers Congress has failed to use over the past two years.

10. Pass the strongest ethics reforms in American history.

Advance enforceable safeguards against corruption and abuse across the executive and judicial branches. Pass those measures even if the president threatens a veto. Require him to defend that decision publicly, and establish a clear reform agenda for 2028.

---

Accountability is a constitutional responsibility. Congress must establish the facts, make its findings public, refer evidence of criminal conduct to the appropriate authorities, and enact reforms that prevent future abuses.

Every member of the next Congress will swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution. The American people deserve a Congress prepared to fulfill that oath through sustained oversight, enforceable standards, and action.
