I was raised to understand that there are four equal measurements associated with Checks and Balances. My research tells me that only nine states across the country mandate civics as a fundamental part of their curriculum. There are the three specified branches of government in the US Constitution. Article I Section 1: The Legislative Branch made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Article II Section 1: The Executive Branch under President of the United States. Article III Section 1: The Judicial Branch. These three branches are designed to operate as counterweights to each other. To help keep the function of the government accountable. Accountable to each other and more importantly, accountable to the American People.

The fourth part of Checks and Balances belongs to the People. Specific to the US Constitution with these three words: “We the People…”. Specific to the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…”. 

The Consent of the Governed shall be rewritten to reflect the Informed Consent of the Governed. The People have the right to understand what they are voting for and why it is important. The government, the private sector, and the media landscape shall not be allowed to mislead or lie to the People. It is the right of the People to be informed factually. 

The point I’m trying to make is that the Will of the People operates as the ultimate Check. From Marbury v. Madison, 5 U.S. 137 (1803). “That the people have an original right to establish for their future government such principles as, in their opinion, shall most conduce to their own happiness is the basis on which the whole American fabric has been erected. The exercise of this original right is a very great exertion; nor can it nor ought it to be frequently repeated. The principles, therefore, so established are deemed fundamental. And as the authority from which they proceed, is supreme, and can seldom act, they are designed to be permanent…This original and supreme will organizes the government and assigns to different departments their respective powers. It may either stop here or establish certain limits not to be transcended by those departments”. 

Article I Section I: All legislators shall operate subject to the rule of law. All Legislators shall be required to meet with their constituents on a quarterly basis. They need to face who they are responsible too. All legislation shall be designed to establish the needs of the People before profits. The budget shall be designed to focus on the needs of the people before profits. Using the budget as a weapon to breed confusion and stress is unconstitutional. The People shall have a political process that is not dominated by wealth. All political campaigns shall be financed through taxes. All independent donations to political campaigns shall be unconstitutional.                                                                                         US billionaires and US millionaires manipulated the legislative process to avoid paying taxes. An astronomical National Debt is the result. It is these people with the money to buy the legislative, executive, judicial, and political process who need to be held accountable. Corporate profits, from this point forward, shall be taxed to pay down of the National Debt. They manipulated the legislative process to create the National Debt. They shall pay down the National Debt to a manageable level. Corporate Profits shall be taxed pursuant to the 16th Amendment. This amendment shall include the right to education, healthcare, and infrastructure, to include all roads, bridges, the power grid and so on. The government shall regulate technology and artificial intelligence to protect and support the needs of the People. Using artificial intelligence to replace an established workforce shall require that the People are duly compensated.              The New Deal did one thing more than it did anything else. It was designed to put the people to work. I define World Economic Apartheid as Reaganomics in the form of privatization. Taking 13 US billionaires & just shy of a trillion dollar National Debt. Add 45 years. Now 800 US billionaires & a 36 trillion dollar National Debt. At the same time some 140 world billionaires in 1987 turned into 2800 world billionaires today. FDR said, “Necessitous men are not free men”. Privatization of government functions shall be unconstitutional. All human beings on Earth deserve a full warm belly every day. All human beings on Earth deserve to have a warm, dry, and safe place to sleep every night. The billionaire class and their millionaire minions owe it to all of us and the planet itself, to make that happen. Period.                                            Article II Section 1: The President of the United States shall operate subject to the rule of law. All official acts and all unofficial acts shall be subject to the same rules that all citizens and non-citizens are expected to be held accountable for. An amendment shall be established where all Inspector Generals in all departments of the government will independent of the legislative, executive, and judicial departments making them answerable to the People themselves.                                                  Article III Section 1: All members of the judiciary shall operate subject to the rule of law. The responsibility of the Judiciary shall be to interpret the Constitution of the United States of America such that the needs of the People come first. Corporations are not People and shall operate such that the needs of the People come before profits. Civil and criminal liability shall be disclosed pursuant to the right of the People to know that all abuses of the law are publicly disclosed. Non-disclosure agreements are unconstitutional.                                                                                  The American People through the power of a consensus of opinions shall be able to overrule all SCOTUS decisions, all legislation, all appointments, and all illegally pursued pardons. The American People have the power to impeach any elected and/or appointed official who abuses their power under the US Constitution. The American People have the right to establish recall petitions across the United States. Petitions to recall Trump and all GOP Senators and Representatives.
