Chatri talao wetland is one of the important bird area in Pohara Malkhed Reserve Forest,Maharashtra.The wetland is home of near about 200 species of birds and only source of water for leopard, tiger ,Indian wolf, jackal, spotted deer, nilgai, four horned antelope and many more wild animals.

Recently Amravati municipal corporation has started construction of wall surrounding the wetland in the name of beautification which will destroy the habitat of birds and also stop wildlife movement .

The wall will devastate the habitat of birds and aquatic diversity.It will also devastate big cats, reptiles, and other wild animals who are dependent on wetland. If the wall is constructed it will lead to man- animal conflict and animal will die of thirst if their water is stopped.

The clock is ticking, tell the Amravati municipal corporation to reject all funding of construction of wall and immediately stop construction of wall.
