Piper McLymond faithfully came into the AMR Rochester office any day that she could to offer love and support to the employees, people who have the difficult job of responding to emergency calls and seeing trauma on a regular basis. Employees learned to look forward to Piper's happy greetings and doggy grin on the days that she came in. Some brought treats just for her. According to Piper's parents, Piper herself loved coming in. She's a "people dog," who got just as much joy from interacting with employees as they got from interacting with her.

Unfortunately, Piper got her pink slip today, as the company notified her parents that Piper is no longer allowed to come to work. Please join us in voicing our profound disappointment in this decision, and join us in our request for it to be revisited and reconsidered. Piper is an asset to the company, to the employees, and to morale. She should stay.
