This petition is created to advocate for the restoration of the former Ampere Train Station, formerly known as Crescent, which is a defunct stop on New Jersey Transit's Montclair-Boonton Line. 

Please join us in our efforts to restore this historic train station as it’s refurbishment and subsequent reopening will provide much needed railway access/ transport to businesses and residents of the Ampere (East Orange), Roseville (Newark) and  Ampere North (Bloomfield) neighborhoods and will revitalize communities in much need of aid, as well as create connectivity between East Orange, Bloomfield, Newark, and the surrounding neighborhoods
