We want to communicate and express that we align with the important mission and vision to take care of Americans First at this pivotal moment in our history. A growing stance of Black Americans Negroe Freedmen (BANF) ethnic collective, is that an Immigration Moratorium is necessary! Most importantly, we are delineating and restructuring the Freedmen's Bureau with the next administration.

Black Americans Negroe Freedmen (BANF) are a founding population of America just like the Native American tribes and the Settlers. We, grassroots activists/advocates, request we reinstate the Freedmen’s Bureau and/or Offices of Freedmen Affairs Agency throughout the United States. After the Civil War, the 13th, 14th, & 15th Amendments, plus the Civil Rights Act of 1866, designated the progeny and descendants of Freedmen as Americans with full citizenship rights and to be equal in life, liberty, and happiness, property, the right to self-identify, along with all unalienable rights and protected status. However, here we are in 2024, and people want to claim we are immigrants and continuously add immigrants into our RACE identification and align to take our piece of the "American pie" as a Native class of Americans and deny us our American status as Freedmen.

We petitioned the OMB to delineate our status and add ethnicity and nation of origin, remove the race category, or create a separate category for the authentic original Americans. Unfortunately, the OMB ignored our petitions and interviews with their work groups to delineate, and “RACE” includes the recent immigrants (Haitians, Nigerians, Jamaicans, etc.) and African descent. Black Americans Negroe Freedmen, aren't of African descent. We are Americans made on the soil! We are an amalgamated people with various admixtures due to the ethnogenesis that took place over 247 years of slavery.

The OMB decided that due to opposition from legacy organizations (e.g., Urban League and Marc Morial's letter) that the changes would confuse the immigrants. They wouldn't change our identifiers or designate a new identifier. Therefore, denying Freedmen our rights to self-identify! They are complicit with the status of RACE, which helps to ethnocide/genocide our ethnic group and include immigrants from Latin America, Caribbean/West Indian, and Sub-Saharan Africans in the RACE category, which distorts our ethnicity and ethnonym.

Some SCOTUS discussed Freedmen via the recent Affirmative Action case as being a race-neutral term since America is attempting to no longer operate in Race.

Even Justice Sotomayor (Hispanic/Latino) benefitted from Freedmen's 14th Amendment and again via Affirmative Action. Justice Sonia Sotomayor – a graduate of Princeton and Yale Law School who once called herself “the perfect affirmative action baby.”

Collecting Data Related to Descent From Persons Who Were Enslaved in the United States

"The majority of the public input on this subject expressed support for adding a category or question to identify descendants of persons enslaved in the United States. There was support for terms including Foundational Black American, American Descendant of Slavery, American Freedman or Freedman, Black American, African-American, and Negro or American Negroe; however, there was disagreement about which term is preferred."

**The OMB did oblige MENA with delineation from White. They also have a Hispanic/Latino ethnicity.

OMB defines "Hispanic or Latino" as a person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race.

The OMB held a webinar on November 19, 2024, on Racial Identifications. Via this webinar, the representatives of the OMB are asked questions regarding the coding for races and ethnicity. When one listens to the questions posited, the OMB had not created any codes for Black Americans and our various identifiers. The representatives highlighted how  Hispanics/Latinos were coded twice as Black and Hispanic. They were not selecting one but both races and ethnicities.

We would like your support in creating legislation and protections for Black Americans Negro Freedmen, to have a separate designation, protected class status, and we recreate, re-establish, and restructure our Freedmen Bureaus or Office of Freedmen Affairs Agency throughout the Nation.

Last but not least, please view the video of an immigrant academic professor at DePaul University speaking on taking away Black Americans Negro Freedmen, rights to petition our government to file our grievances for redress. We are noticing that many immigrants come from socialist/Marxist/Fascist societies. These individuals are now here in America and going against our Constitution. They apparently want Americans to acquiesce, capitulate, or coalesce to their socialist/Marxist/Fascist beliefs and values.
