Bring Back American University's Red Line Shuttle

The Issue

American University, without warning, stopped running the red line shuttle that connects many American University and Washington College of Law students to the main campus, the Tenleytown Metro, and the new law school campus.

The availability of this service dictated where many students chose to sign leases. Now these students, including those with physical disabilities that prevent them from walking long distances, are left mid-school year and mid-winter without the immediate access to campus or the DC metro system that they had relied upon.

As an institution that consistently uses it's city accessibility as a selling point to attract potential students, American University should feel obligated to return this shuttle service to the many students in the area for the remainder of the school year.
