Unlawful Animal Discrimination - Justice For Max

Unlawful Animal Discrimination - Justice For Max
The Issue
We need everybody's help to get Justice for sweet Max, our 2-year-old bully mix we foster failed last year!!!! He is as sweet as can be with the wildest and sweetest personality ever. Max is not an aggressive dog at all and loves everyone he meets.
On April 2, max was taken from our home because an Amazon Delivery driver made a FALSE accusation against him, claiming he had attacked her. We have 3 eyewitnesses who all saw nothing of the sort. Max learned how to open certain doors in our house, which all have new knobs now, and opened the front door when she dropped packages off. That led to 4 dogs ( Labrador, 2 cocker spaniels, and Max) coming outside, and she ran screaming but had assured us she was fine and scratched herself on her truck. Later on, we were notified that she had left our house and went to the police station to make a police report about max, which led to Animal Control getting involved and impounding him.
On April 20th, we hearing at Chatham County animal control for the 'dangerous dog' classification, and they have ruled against us. Now we have to file an appeal to overrule the classification in court. The entire case, mainly the women's story, has an abundance of discrepancies within every file, report, and her story just as a whole. Her story has changed about 4 times now. The "bite site" is inconsistent on each file, and the photo of "bite" is inconsistent with an actual dog bite. During the hearing, she changed her whole story to now claiming that two dogs bite her. I can not comprehend how anyone in their right mind could look at this case and not think it is one of the most fabricated stories. Certain personnel at Chatham County's animal control prejudged Max due to his breed and appearance, which has made this case even harder.
This entire conflict has been so heartbreaking and unjust; I would never wish this on anyone. Poor Max has been in there since April 2, and we have not been allowed to see him. I can't even imagine how confused he must be right now.
Please sign so Max can live out a normal and happy dog life!!! Thank Y'all so much!
