Petition updateDeclaration repudiating Trump and Trumpism
Is it a moral question whether one repudiates, condones or supports Donald Trump?

Is it a moral question whether one repudiates, condones or supports Donald Trump and what he stands for? Well, let’s think about it… I believe most reasonable people will agree that many of the beyond-reprehensible things Trump and his people and his supporters have said and done, continue to say and do, and pledge that they will do in future are deeply and morally wrong. There is no need to list examples, because we all know them and they are numerous. So, if we say or do nothing about any of this, if we say let’s wait, let’s give him a chance, are we not at least condoning, but in fact even indirectly participating in, these very immoral acts? There are many ways to say no. Signing the Declaration repudiating Trump and Trumpism is perhaps a particularly powerful way of saying no, but it’s not the only one. Please help pass the word about the declaration to your friends. We want to add signatories, yes, but even more important is that we continue contributing to the conversation among conscientious Americans and to the search for ways to say no to what is wrong and to fight to preserve and strengthen what we know to be right. Thank you for your support and for doing the right thing.
