This petition is about wearing masks, getting your shots when eligible, hand washing, sanitizing, and social distancing in order to take care of the health and well being of our children, parents, and staff in Elkhorn, Gretna, Millard, and Papillion LaVista Public Schools.

Covid is on the rise and more of our younger population are being affected, That's why it's important to protect yourself and others. If we don't take the necessary steps more students will become sick and schools will be forced to shut down and we will be back to remote learning.

We believe that parents and educators want our children to be able to stay in school and get educated in person. In order to achieve keeping our schools open we need to do what we listed above of everyones health and well being.

We know by following the advice and recommendations of the APA, CDC, DCHD, and the UNMC we have a better chance of keeping everyone safe and healthy and in school.
