My own electric bill went from $280 to $500 in one month's time. When we have power outages …the rates increase as well. We keep our thermostat between 68-72 always. There have been days when we were able to completely turn off thermostat due to good insulation. This has impacted us significantly! We are struggling to pay these outrageous electric bills. Our people are struggling right now due to the Coronavirus epidemic, resulting in high unemployment rates, layoffs and business line closures particularly in areas that already have a significantly high poverty rate. I ask for your support to please consider signing this petition in hopes that we can make a change. In hopes that we may be able to put a stop to price gouging and plainly being taken advantage of.
