The figure of Lord Ganesha, a Hindu deity, on sandals is extremely insulting. Hindus do not wear slippers or shoes inside the house and never in temples. Footwear is considered unclean for obvious reasons. To put a god's picture on the sandals is ignorant, insensitive and in extreme bad taste. Can AE imagine Jesus in place of Lord Ganesha on the sandals and see how bad this is? Please employ a cultural SME in the future. Recall all of these sandals ASAP.
