American Airlines has recently taken deliberate steps to control (and by extension, limit) what you can do with your miles data.  By demanding The Points Guy cease and desist from syncing the miles data of AAdvantage customers, American Airlines made clear that it believes that you do not have the right to share your personal information with third-party apps that will help you save time and money and make your life easier. We believe this is your right. 

We are dedicated to protecting travelers' rights to review their awards status and use the miles that they have spent hard-earned time and money to accumulate.
