American Adventure Theme Park Investors
The Issue
Hello people and welcome to the petition for investing a New Theme Park.
I am backing the online petition by Mr Declan Salmon to Reopen a lost theme park in Derbyshire and build it in a New Location in the area.
So far the petition set by Mr Salmon has gained 5000 signatures, TV coverage on ITV and interests from 4 local news papers but more is needed.
Its ok to have the signatures but we are looking into a suitable location and big investment from any major entertainment company thinking of building a theme park somewhere in the country and we would like the opportunity to outline our plans for a New Major theme park in Derbyshire UK
When The American Adventure closed its doors for the final time in 2006 and announced that it would not reopen for the 2007 season........not only did we lose a Once Great Theme Park we lost an entire local town economy, when the Park went! so did its jobs in the local community and surrounding areas.
Even The Ski 2000 shut its doors in the same area, a local dry Ski Slope and more jobs gone with it.
2 Land Marks gone taking the town off the map BUT!
with peoples support and investors, a new economy can bring this community back..
Myself and Mr Salmon Strongly Agree that an All New American Adventure can boost the local economy and create Thousands of new jobs and bring back this Once Great Theme Park back to life once again.
We have contacted Merlin Entertainments, Mellors Entertainment and im trying to contact Sir Richard Branson who likes to back the Underdog.
So why not be like Sir Richard and back the Underdog plan.
All we ask is that if we reach the target of 10.000 signatures! would you be willing to give a few minutes of your time to discuss what we would like to happen.
and finally........please give serious thought and consideration to this petition and remember....We are not asking for Money! We are asking for our Theme Park back.
