America's RE-DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

 

Since the adoption of the original Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, We the people of the United States of America, have, due to the faith, courage, and sacrifice of our Founding Fathers, enjoyed living as the most free and independent nation in the world.  Every year since, we celebrate, with family, friends, and neighbors, what we call Independence Day.  But as a nation, a people, we have forgotten what Independence truly is, and what it takes to maintain it. 


We have come to a point in America where our existing government needs to be reminded that they are there to represent the American people, not force their will upon us.  They serve in a government of the people, by the people, and for the people and we are taking it back.  The time has come to dust off our Founding Documents and reclaim our Republic. 


When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitles them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.


We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just power from the consent of the governed.  That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.  Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed of light transient causes; and accordingly, all experience hath shown that mankind is more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government and to provide new guards for their future security.  The guards have fallen asleep at the gates of Freedom and Independence and the enemy has come crashing through.  Now is the time to take back that which has been stolen. 

 

The history of the present government is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states.  To prove this, let the facts be submitted to a candid world. 


Attacks on Religious Freedom:
The First Amendment of the Constitution states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”

From Christopher Columbus to the Pilgrims, to those who fought for our freedom and independence, all were of the mind that all blessings come from God.  Our Founding Fathers prayerfully sought God’s guidance as they put together the framework of our Founding Documents.  America was built on the foundation of Christianity.  We are a Christian Nation.  But our freedom to exercise our religious beliefs have been trampled on by government overreach by taking away our rights to Bible reading and prayer in public schools and the removal of the Ten Commandments from the public square.  This cannot be permitted to stand.

The Attack on Human Life:
Since the removal of Bible reading and prayer from our public schools in1963, morality in America has taken a nosedive.  Proof of America’s moral decline became painfully apparent in 1973 with the passage of Roe v. Wade, which stated that women in these United States have a fundamental right to murder babies in the womb.


Children are a gift from God and have the same unalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as any other citizen of the United States.  All life is precious and should be protected at all costs.

The Government’s Hijacking of the Education System:
The goal of an educational system, whether public or private, should be to teach both children and adults the basic skills needed to live life in a productive manner. 


There was a day when students were taught important subjects such as reading (including Bible reading), writing, arithmetic, science, history/civics, and basic life skills.  They were taught to challenge themselves to strive for excellence, to hone their thinking skills.  But today’s public schools have become more like indoctrination facilities, where teachers tell students how and what they should think.  Now subjects such as Critical Race Theory are taught.  They are promoting gender confusion in young children and encouraging them to accept transgenderism and same sex unions, among other atrocities, and then criminalize parents that stand in opposition. 


Schools today are hindering the type of education needed to provide our children the opportunity to excel in the world around them.  


In the eyes of government, a well-educated citizenry is more difficult to control.

Refusal to Secure the United States Border:
Article IV, Section 4, of the United States Constitution:  The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the Executive (when the legislature cannot be convened), against domestic violence.


At this time, the President of these United States and many of our elected Representatives have refused to secure the southern border of our nation, allowing wave after wave of illegal immigrants to flood into our country virtually unchecked, ignoring all immigration law.  Among these illegals are dangerous criminals, including terrorists and enemies of America, human traffickers, and drug smugglers.  This is a slap in the face of every immigrant who followed the proper law and procedures to become a legal citizen of America. 


This same President and Representatives, upon taking office, swore to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States.  And if they continue to ignore their duties, they should be considered traitors to their country and have proper measure taken against them. 


“To admit foreigners indiscriminately to the rights of citizens, the moment they put foot in our country, would be nothing less than to admit the Grecian horse into the citadel of our liberty and sovereignty.”  Alexander Hamilton

 

Improper Use and Wasteful Spending of Taxpayer Money:
According to the United States Constitution Article I, Section 8:

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.  


The purpose for the collection of taxes is meant to be for the upkeep and betterment of the country, such as national defense, paying national debt, and infrastructure. 


These funds are meant to be spent wisely and frugally.  Instead, these funds are spent frivolously without any concern (on such things as proving that gingerbread houses are earthquake proof, proving that frat brothers like to party, studying monkey drool, and finding out if dinosaurs could sing, just to name a few).  American tax dollars are even sent around the globe to enemies of our country.  This is not only wasted spending but traitorous spending and will no longer be tolerated by the American people.  We will not allow the President of the United States or members of Congress to continue to send American tax money to foreign governments whose intent is to destroy America and our allies.

Unequal Justice System:
The Justice System that now exists in America has been divided into two tiers.  The first tier exists for the everyday American citizen by which when the individual is caught committing a crime, he is captured, tried, sentenced, and receives punishment according to the crime committed.  The second tier on the other hand, exists for the influential members of society (government officials, the wealthy or high society types).  When these individuals are accused of or even caught in the act of committing crimes, there is rarely any punishment handed down at all.  Heads are turned in the opposite direction.  


According to the Constitution, in this country no person is above the law regardless of stature.  All are equal in the eyes of true justice.  Justice must be handed out equally or we have no justice at all.

Attack on Second Amendment Rights:
The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution reads:

A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.


In other words, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be violated. 


Our Founding Fathers had recently won a hard-fought war for freedom against a tyrannical King, and they understood the importance of securing the rights of the people to have the means to self-protection.  They believed that every citizen should have the ability to protect themselves and their loved ones from all possible forms of attack, whether it came from foreign entities, or domestic enemies, including tyrannical government. 


We now live in a time the Founding Fathers feared might come to pass.  A time when the hunger for power and control supersedes the original intent of representative government.  At every turn, those who have sworn an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution, seek ways to rob Americans of one of the fundamental rights that is protected by it, the right to self-protection, the right to bear arms. 


A government that governs well has no need to fear an armed citizenry.  But a government that intends evil cannot allow its intended victims to have the ability to withstand it.


We the people enjoy the freedoms and liberties passed down to us by our founders, and will not give up our best means to protect them 


“The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such nature.  They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”

The current governmental system no longer has the well-being of the American people in mind.  It has become corrupt and self-serving, a danger to those it is meant to serve and protect. 


In light of this fact, it is in the best interest of the American people to reclaim this institution and return it to the people.


We, the undersigned Representatives of the Patriots of these United States, with renewed vigor and determination, do on this day, in the spirit of our Founding Fathers, support the Re-Declaration of Independence with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, and we also mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.  So help us God!
