Our Community has been directly impacted by the current bail reform laws in New Hampshire. Our community is seeing violent criminals being released on PR bails mere hours after their crimes are committed. 

This isn't an isolated incident or an overstatement. In fact, there's data to suggest that this trend is happening with alarming regularity. Our justice system, as it currently operates, has created a public safety risk, allowing criminals to return to the streets with little to no recourse.

The issue isn't with the fact that bail exists, but with how it's being implemented under the new reforms in New Hampshire. We believe in the premise that everyone deserves the chance to prove their innocence however, the public safety needs to be the priority.

There should be a review of these laws, and changes made to balance the protection of individual rights with the safety of the community.
