We are still Moving

We are still fighting for justice for Andres. It has not been easy, and too often, it feels as though our cries are falling on deaf ears.
We sincerely thank everyone who has signed our petition. The truth is, we urgently need more signatures and shares. Please help us keep Andres’ story alive.
Far too many families have lost loved ones to violence committed by teenagers. Andres will not be forgotten or reduced to a statistic. He had dreams, a future, and people who loved him deeply. He will never be just another number.
The person convicted of murdering Andres was recently transferred to an adult jail after allegedly attacking someone while in juvenile detention. He is now facing two additional felony charges. Despite this, the judge continues to suggest that he deserves a reduced sentence. We cannot understand how another serious act of violence could be overlooked or minimized. He is now 18 years old and can face adult charges.
Those who knowingly commit murder must be held accountable. Andres deserves justice, and our family deserves to be heard.
We will never stop fighting.
