Millions of animals suffer endless pain and untimely deaths throughout our country at the hands of heartless humans.  90% of the time all farm animals and street animals are inflicted pain unnecessarily at the hands of some sadists.  Animal rights activists througout the country are not able to do anything because of the feeble laws surrounding the protection of the voiceless.  These murderers know that the maximum penalty for any heinous act is just a couple of hundred bucks.  This has to change. For this to change, we need an amendment of the PCA act to include more severe punishment to perpetrators.  As with recent stray dog killings of Kerala, even with Honorable Supreme Court's order and High Court's order, there were rampant killings of dogs across the state just because the murderers know the laws are feeble.
