Pay Employees Overtime and Living Wages

The Issue

Former employees are starting to speak out against the wage theft and bad working conditions that have existed at your bakery for too long. I worked at Amelie's for almost two years and I observed some of these abuses first-hand.

Lynn St. Laurent has even admitted to using "cross-utilization" to deprive workers of overtime hours they have earned:

There is no way to know how many employees have been cheated, so we are asking Amelie's to increase its current minimum wage to $10/hour and maintain the current raise schedule that is in place. Lynn St. Laurent has made comments in the media suggesting current employees who have difficulty in dealing with "How we do things at Amelie's" will be terminated. We are also asking her to address these issues without terminating or intimidating current employees who choose to speak out.

By signing this petition, you will help fight for a living wage for current employees and encourage Lynn St. Laurent to be the hero who saves Amelie's from this crisis.

We do not want workers to lose their jobs.

This is her chance to show us she is sincere about addressing our concerns.
