Healthier Options at the Student Store

The food at the student store this semester is extremely unhealthy. Personally, I got a rotten spring roll that cost me $4.00. Almost all the food contains meat products, most of which are fried. Even the salads here have meat. Our student body has many vegetarians in it, and with the limited options by the time most of them get to the store there are no vegetarian friendly meals left. Another issue is that some students are lactose intolerant and the store does not cater to those problems, there is cheese on the salads! The store is catering to a bunch of performers who need to be healthy. There is also the issue of Fridays during the Lent season. There are a lot of catholic students here who practice lent and this entire lent season we have asked time and again for more non-meat options, but no changes were made. Some complaints of students: "The mac & cheese is just noodles with fake nacho chesse on top. It's disgusting" "Dear amda store, please sell me something healthy! This rubber freezer stored stuff is terrible for us" "I just wanted to suggest vegan options. Like just more veggie friendly options! Also maybe just some more allergen conscious options". There needs to be a change in the store because the students energy is becoming worse by the day and the poor nutrients in the food is not helping. Please change the food here, it will benefit the students and the faculty.
