Lockton Avenue Recreation Ground is a community space; a green field, for picnics, football, dog-walking, snowball fights and more.

There is a proposal in place to build 35 houses on this area.

It is a space which is used on (at least) a daily basis by a vast number of local people.  It means a lot to us all, and we don't want to lose it to more housing.  It is a fantastic green-space, which excels at elevating the general ambience of the area and of people who live nearby, in what is an already highly-developed urban and industrial area, and is a welcome haven for wildlife.
