STOP USING LARGE BUILDINGS FOR THE USE OF SUPER ASYLUM SEEKER HOSTELS
This petition made change with 1,500 supporters!
Theresa May stated in the conservative party manifesto that she intends to reduce immigration to tens of thousands from the hundreds of thousands.
Why waste many hundreds of thousands of pounds of tax payers money for the conversion of Lilycross Nursing Home in Widnes Cheshire WA8 5UY when the Home Affairs Select Committee (report of the 12th session January 2017) and the Refugee Council have both advised against forced room sharing and large scale hostels which are to be phased out within 6 months.
The Compass contract is due to end in 2019 and yet SERCO/Home Office intend to use this building for 10 years which equates to a minimum of 20,000 un-assessed asylum seekers passing through this location to other areas of the Country.
We feel that we cannot condone such large asylum seeker hostels in the UK and that the Government should listen to the advice of the experts, so please sign and share this petition if you think these super asylum seeker hostels should be scrapped.
