We urgently request that the pending removal of political activist and SCNC member Mr Pride Mbi Agbor, on Kenyan Airways flight from Heathrow, KQ101 at 17:24 on 24/03/2017, is suspended. The current political situation in Cameroon is too dangerous to ensure that Pride will be safe upon his return. Government travel advice for Cameroon has warned about riots and violence between demonstrators and the Police.

Pride is kind hearted, trustworthy and warm. He is a friend to everybody he meets and has a huge support network in Sheffield. Pride is an asylum seeker who does an enormous amount of good in his local community, and has recently been appointed as a City of Sanctuary Trustee.

 Please help us. We insist that the government must not remove Pride, a non-violent activist and peaceful protestor, to Cameroon - the place where he would be at highest risk of persecution, brutality, or even death. We reiterate that his pending removal must be cancelled or suspended so that his solicitor can continue to fight for Pride’s justice and freedom in the UK.
