Problem
The disabled who are isolated unable to leave their homes due to either losing or not awarded the mobility part of PIP.

Solution
Scrap the 20meter rule and take people’s medical and mobility needs more seriously.

Personal story
I’m Kandis and I have fibromyalgia, arthritis,a slipped disc and a host of mental health problems. I have totally lost my independence I have no mobility award and need a mobility scooter to get back my life and independence. So many disabled people across the uk are trapped in their homes unless others can get them out. I have no way of getting out alone due to the extreme pain and fatigue I am experiencing. I like many don’t have the funds to buy a scooter as even second hand they are around £500+. Our homes are our prisons and it’s deeply depressing more opportunities are available for us but we can’t get their. I don’t no if this will make a difference but I’m gonna try and get independence back to as many people as possible all my love Kandis xxx
