Friends and Supporters, On Monday August 31, 2015 the Petition to Free Waleed Abu al-Khair was delivered to the office of Consul General Sultan al-Angari, the Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in Houston, Texas. Along with the Petition was a request that the Petition be delivered to The King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz during his visit to Washington, DC this week. Consul General Sultan al-Angari is traveling to Washington today with the Petition and for that we are very thankful. The 396 page Petition was bound and contains 12,623 signatures.
