Amazon was only considering pitches centered around Stargate SG1 / Atlantis due to some unspecified issues with Stargate Universe.

The reason Amazon never reached out to Brad Wright for his new script was that it continued the story from Stargate Universe, making it an unexplored option for them. While we find this decision a bit perplexing, that's the information we received.

After learning about this, we reached out to Joseph Mallozzi and informed him of what we had heard. He assured us that he would pass on the information to Brad Wright, and hopefully, Brad will be able to rewrite the pitch and get back in the room with Amazon.

We are now on the cusp of achieving the Stargate Revival that we have all been longing for, and with this new development, there's hope that Brad can become involved.

Please, do your part by sharing the petition with as many people as you can on social media or through your preferred method. We are very close to reaching a significant milestone that will enable us to have a broader reach and put this in front of the right people.
