Amazon, you invested a ton of money into adapting Wheel of Time for TV.  Thank you.  

And while it was a significant investment it is not enough to bring the story as is, to life for the long-time fans. 

With only 8 episodes per season, and 8 seasons planned; with only $10-15 million per episode, the team behind the project is forced to condense, consolidate, and change the story from the original source material that fans love.

On the one hand, this is great for the Wheel of Time story.  It brings in so many new fans.  On the other hand, it disappoints many long-time fans. 

Please plan to create an animated series that is faithful to the original books.  With the existing fan base that Wheel of Time already has, and the new fan base that the show will build, this is both achievable within a reasonable budget and can be tremendously profitable, by keeping fans glued to your service for years to come.

Many other franchises have both live-action and animated formats that differ.  And the overlap between the two is highly beneficial.  Marvel, Lord of the Rings, Cowboy Bebop,  Dr. Seuss, Avatar, DC, and many more examples exist.  

This is one great way to use the content you've licensed and continue to leverage the value for future viewers.
