The Amazon Echo (voice-activated) personal device has recently had a software update that has removed the "OKAY" automated reply response to voice commands. The removal of this feature has greatly reduced the Echo's ability to communicate with the hearing disabled. The vocal response has been replaced with a low quality tone. We feel that the removal of this function has also diminished the value of the product. We purchased this with the feature, only to have it removed. On behalf of the many hearing disabled individuals, enthusiastic Echo users, and those that want this feature returned - please BRING BACK THE ALEXA "OKAY" RESPONSE AS AN OPTIONAL SETTING.
