Little House on the Prairie has been a classic family television show since it's conception in the late 1970s. Little House is unique in it's combination of relatable storylines, endearing characters, and critically important values. Even in today's society, this show continues to inspire, teach, and captivate audiences around the globe.

At the end of February, Little House is being taken off of Amazon Primes streaming service. While some episodes continue to air on select channels, and the seasons are available for purchase as DVDs, an increasing number of viewers do not readily have access to either live TV, or DVD players. Streaming services are growing in their reach, and are quickly becoming one of the most popular ways to enjoy movies and television shows. The presence of Little House on Amazon Prime has been very important to many of it's viewers, and it is a great travesty to watch it go.

I know I am not alone when I say that this show has been a great solace for me. The Ingalls family and friends have taught me important life lessons, and instilled values that I know will continue to be important for many generations to come. I would love to see this show continue to be readily available on streaming services, most especially Amazon Prime, so that the widest possible audience can appreciate and learn from this truly remarkable show.
