Amazon, enough is enough
The Issue
Millions of people make billions of dollars worth of purchases from Amazon.com every year. In recent years Amazon has contracted with a delivery company called Ontrac. When Amazon uses UPS, USPS, Fedex, etc for the delivery of their customer's purchases, the hassle is limited. There have been customer complaints against Ontrac since it's introduction to Amazon's business, ranging from theft, dishonesty, to assaulting customer's pets with pepperspray. All of these complaints have gone to Amazon and they have ALL fallen on deaf ears. Amazon's customers have begged and pleaded with Amazon to discontinue their service with Ontrac or at the very least give customers the option to opt out of using Ontrac as their delivery agent. Amazon refuses to do both. It seems that Amazon has stopped caring about it's customers. It has become painfully obvious that they would rather waste money in the replacement of "lost" merchandise or lose the business of millions of loyal customers, then to just make a CHANGE! That is what Amazon's customers are thriving for, CHANGE!! We all want to continue to shop on our favorite online merchandiser but there are thousands if not millions of reasons to drop them and just go to the stores. People love Amazon but it loses it's appeal when it loses it's convenience to it's consumers, whose number one reason for using Amazon in the first place is just that. Their numbers may show that they are making timely deliveries which ups their status among their competitors but if the packages don't make it to the destination forcing Amazon to send a replacement then it is safe to say that the numbers are grossly inaccurate! An Ontrac driver recently used pepperspray on a customers dog as a barrier to get to the porch then emptied the can in the dogs face blinding the dog and causing thousands of dollars in vet bills and property damage. That customer had only purchased forty dollars in merchandise and suffice it to say, it wasn't worth it. Amazon's response to this situation was to offer a ten dollar credit on the customers account. The customer pleaded with the Amazon supervisor to place a block on their account that would prevent Ontrac from ever stepping foot on their property again but Amazom refused, stating that they were not equipt to do that at that time. So, there are already millions of complaints against Amazon and their use of this theiving, dishonest and inept delivery company but to date they haven't listened. It's time that Amazon's consumers show Amazon just how dissatisfied we all are. STOP USING ONTRAC OR LOSE YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!
