Amazon is NOT doing the right thing to protect their employees from the COVID . In the EWR9 Building a few employees ( including a manager ) tested positive for the COVID . The Building is not providing the employees whatever they need to protect themselves like hand sanitizer , mask or lysol wipes. The only thing they did to " protect " they employees was to separate every table and chairs in every break room, all they keep telling the employees is that costumers and their orders are the priority right now , Amazon is basically putting the costumers orders first then our health ! They offered the employees to stay home if they don't feel good WITHOUT getting paid. All we ask for asking for is for them to 1) Allow all employees to stay home WITH pay for a quarantine period, this would help slow the spread of Covid-19 and keep us and our families safe. 2) Shutting down would also give associates a bit of peace of mind. During this time the building would be able to properly clean and disinfect.
