Please help Amazon get the message that they are directly supporting and benefitting from a barbaric and cruel practice that has no place in a civilized society. Selling "veterinary" equipment for ear cropping and/or tail docking dogs is counter to the principles of any legitimate business, especially one that is claiming credit for working toward more ethical practices. 

There can be no justification for selling "Pitbull Ear Cropping Clamps" with a guide and related tools so that unlicensed persons can perform "home surgery" amounting to torture of these dogs and promoting a look that celebrates illegal dog-fighting. The procedure is extremely painful to the dog and can lead to terrible outcomes. The American Veterinary Medical Association opposes ear cropping and tail docking for cosmetic purposes, noting both can lead to ongoing medical problems. It goes without saying that the AVMA also vehemently condemns dog-fighting.

We request that all products related to ear cropping or tail docking, or any other unnecessary surgery by non-licensed veterinary professionals, be banned by Amazon. We further request that any search for such items be linked to a message supporting the noted positions of the AVMA in regard to such practices.
