Thanks to everyone who signed this petition, those who have contacted Amazon directly, and many others who have been advocating for humane treatment of animals over the years, Amazon appears to be no longer selling paw traps or other kinds of ensnaring devices, and they are also no longer allowing third parties to list or sell paw traps on the Amazon web site.  By my observation, paw traps stopped being listed on Amazon in December of 2021 -- one year after right paw and fore-arm amputations were observed and reported on four raccoons from an extended family of raccoons living in the woods behind our home in Woodinville, Washington , and 11 months after this petition was started.  Over time, with persistence and determination, our efforts to make this world a kinder, more compassionate, and better place can make a very positive difference, as they have here.  This also reminds me that, sometimes, cruel and tragic things in this world can lead to positive and lasting changes that will help others in the future.  Thanks again to everyone, and please continue your advocacy on behalf of other things that need changing in this world.
